New Sexual Health Physician starting in October 2017

The Action Centre will now offer a referral based sexual health physician service, specialising in Adolescent Sexual Health, Postpartum Women, and general women's reproductive and sexual health including sexually transmissible infections, contraception, medication termination of pregnancy and cervical screening.

Dr. Siobhan Bourke, MBBS (Hon) FAChSHM, a Sexual Health Physician (Monash, 1995) has previously undertaken clinical work at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Sexual Health Victoria, Austin Health’s ‘Family Planning Clinic’ and at the Royal Women’s Hospital ‘Choices Clinic’. Siobhan has provided education for health professionals and the broader community through tenures at the Victorian Cytology Service, Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Sexual Health Victoria and the Centre for Excellence in Rural Health at the University of Melbourne. Siobhan has a Master’s in Public Health and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education.
